Floor gratings
Accessories
Steel floor gratings must be fastened to the supporting structure to prevent lifting and shifting of the gratings. Standard clamps in stainless steel or galvanized version are used for this purpose.
An essential part of the ladder construction are ladder rungs. The circular punched protrusions create a non-slip surface.
Clamps
The clamp consists of four parts:
Upper part- dovetail or circular plate
Lower part - shaped sheet metal pressing
Screw M8 hexagonal head - length 60, 70, 80 mm
Square nut M8
Plate - is the upper part of the clamp, without a pad and nut. The diameter of the plate is 53 mm, it can be used for 30 x 30 mm mesh and suitable for M8 nuts.
All parts are hot-dip galvanized according to the standard ISO1461.
The clamps are delivered assembled.
Materials
Standard clamps with screws
M8 x 70 mm
The length of the screws depends on the height of the grating bearing bar.
Clamps used for gratings
This type of clamps can be used for both P (pressed) and SP (press welded) gratings with 33x33 mm and 34.3x38.1 mm meshes.
To fasten the grating we recommend a minimum of four clamps.
Ladder rungs
As standard, they are delivered in steel in particular lengths.
Single-row ladder rung:
Material: steel - without a surface treatment, thickness 2mm
Length: 500 mm
Width: 35 mm
Weight: 0,80 kg
Double-row ladder rung:
Material: steel - without a surface treatment, thickness 2mm
Length: 485 mm
Width: 50 mm
Weight: 0,96 kg
Tread edge
The tread edge is standardly used as an anti-slip protection for stair treads and gratings. Welding the edge to the grating or stringer also ensures better product stability. It is supplied in steel – without a surface treatment.
